Long Beach Food Pantry
The Foodbank of Southern California is proud to partner with NBC4 and Telemundo 52 for their fifth annual Help For The Hungry Campaign. For the past five years, these bilingual, local TV stations have been supporting regional food banks and local food pantries across Southern California, from Los Angeles to Orange County, Ventura Country, and the Imperial Valley.
Now, for the first time, Long Beach residents have a chance to benefit from this season of charitable giving. On Thursday, December 15th, 2022 from 10 am to 12 pm, the Foodbank of Southern California will host a food giveaway to help residents in need.
This event is supported by more than 200 local nonprofit groups that are helping to mobilize thousands of residents in need of food donations. The Long Beach Fire Department will be attending, helping to hand out food.
Long Beach residents are encouraged to make food donations before then, so they can go straight to those in need. Your charitable donation will ease the burden on struggling individuals and families during the often expensive and challenging holiday season.
How to Donate
If you would like to donate to the Foodbank of Southern California, we accept financial contributions through our website. To donate to the Help for the Hungry campaign, text H4H to 41444 or donate in person at your neighborhood Ralphs or Food 4 Less supermarkets. 100% of your contribution to this campaign will go directly to Southern California food banks and food pantries.
Thank you for your ongoing support. We look forward to making December 15th a huge success!
