Holding a food drive is an easy and fun way to support the Foodbank. It works well for individuals, groups of friends, clubs, schools, churches and workplaces.
There are two kinds of food drives to choose from:
Online Food Drives
Online Food Drives are ideal for organizations with multiple teams, departments, or sites, or wherestaff work remotely. Our platform makes it possible for corporate teams to have healthy competitions to raise funds to provide healthy, nourishing food for those in need. Because of our bulk purchasing power, every $1 you raise can provide 4 meals!. Contact us to find out more.
Traditional Food Drives
Should you want to hold a more traditional food drive, you can collect nonperishable food to be distributed through The Foodbank to our partner agencies. This is ideal for corporations, neighborhood groups, schools, churches and workplaces. We can provide barrels and a list of suggested items to make it easy and hassle-free. Sign up at our Volunteer Projects page, and a Foodbank staff member will contact you to coordinate details and answer questions.
