For an immediate response to the need for food, individuals seeking food are referred to one or more of The Foodbank’s Member Agencies near their residence.


cal-fresh-food CalFresh (food stamps). CalFresh is for people with low-income who meet federal income eligibility rules and want to add to their budget to put healthy and nutritious food on the table. For more information and to apply, go to

CalFresh for Students (food stamps). Students can only qualify for CalFresh if they meet certain criteria. There are many definitions and exemptions that can be confusing. Read carefully in order to find out if you are considered a student and whether you may be eligible. California WIC (Women, Infants & Children). WIC serves babies and children up to age 5, pregnant women, and new mothers. Dads, grandparents, foster parents of young children, and working families are welcome at WIC too! WIC helps families by providing nutrition education, breastfeeding support, vouchers for healthy foods, and referrals to healthcare and other community services.
