The Foodbank of Southern California
The Foodbank of Southern California’s No-One Hungry campaign works with local agencies who become distribution partners enabling us to provide quality food throughout California. See how The Foodbank of Southern California gets to work.
The Foodbank’s mission is to provide basic sustenance and proper nutrition to the community’s hungry citizens and to ensure that no individual goes hungry, not even for a single day. As long as there are hungry children, families, and seniors in our community, The Foodbank of Southern California intends to be a major force in the fight against hunger.
The Foodbank has numerous corporate and organizational food drives and volunteer programs. Corporate employees and volunteers learn firsthand the tremendous impact that their participation and donations make in the lives of impoverished children, families and seniors in our community.
We serve a melting pot of certified charitable community agencies, such as Parents of Watts and L.A. Dream Center, that care for hungry people in need, from all walks of life.
Community-based agencies participate in the nation’s Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), where The Foodbank is their primary provider of food, for feeding the needy in Los Angeles County.
